MINUTES FOR THE HUGO CITY COUNCIL MEETING OF 01/21/97 <br />The meeting was called to order by Mayor Fran Miron at 7:15PM. <br />PRESENT: Barnes, Goiffon, Johnson, Leroux, Miron <br />City Administrator, Robert Museus <br />City Attorney, Greg Galler <br />City Engineer, Tom Angus <br />City Clerk, Mary Arm Creager <br />ADDITIONS TO AGENDA <br />Revised Findings of Fact (Ricci,$) <br />Update on the Comprehensive Stormwater Management Plan (Pete Willenbring) <br />Update on Fire Hall Committee <br />Mum made motion, Goiffon seconded, to approve the following Consent Agenda: <br />City Council minutes for January 6, 1997 <br />General claims for January 21, 1997 in the amount of $331,357.45 <br />All aye. Motion Carried <br />PUBLIC HEARING (128TH STREET VACATION) <br />A public hearing was held to consider the request of Wilson Tool International to vacate <br />an 80 ft easement known as 128th Street from the west side of T.H. 61 to the east line of <br />Falcon Avenue. The street has not been constructed. on the easement, and a large portion <br />of the easement crosses wetlands. If constructed, it would not be a through road, and <br />Wilson Tool desires the return of the easement in order to facilitate their business <br />expansion plan. Comments from the DNR were provided to the Council. NSP maintains <br />electrical lines in a portion of the easement to serve Wilson Tool. Tom Emery, Vice <br />President of Human Resources, addressed the Council regarding the request stating that <br />NSP will make whatever changes are necessary to facilitate their proposed 42,000 sq ft <br />expansion to the south of their present facility. Joyce Domer, resident living behind <br />Wilson Tool's second parking lot, stated that there is a water problems on her property, and <br />assumes the proper permits will be obtained for the proposed expansion. <br />Miron made motion, Barnes seconded, to adopt RESOLUTION 1997-4, A <br />RESOLUTION VACATING A ROADWAY EASEMENT AS PER PETITION OF <br />WILSON TOOL INTERNATIONAL. <br />VOTING AYE: Barnes, Goiffon, Johnson, Leroux, Miron <br />Motion Carried. <br />HEARING (ANTENNA ORDINANCE) <br />The public hearing to consider an ordinance establishing, regulations for the construction of <br />antennas within the community was continued.
