MINUTES FOR THE 101i1G0 CITY COUNCEL MEETING OF MARCH 3.1997 <br />The meeting was called to order by Mayor Fran Miron at 7:14PM. <br />PRESENT: Barnes, Goiffon, Johnson, Miron (Leroux arrived at 7:17PM.) <br />City Administrator, Robert Museus <br />City Attorney, Greg Galler <br />City Engineer, Tom Angus <br />City Clerk, Mary Ann Creager <br />ADDITIONS TO AGENDA <br />Discussion on intersection of C.R. 8A and T.H. 61 <br />Fire Hall Committee Update <br />Barnes made motion, Goiffon seconded, to approve the following Consent Agenda: <br />City Council minutes for February 17, 1997 <br />City Council minutes for February 19, 1997 <br />General Claims for March 3, 1997 <br />Amended SUP (SBA/Lessard-Nyren) <br />Charitable Gambling License (Wild Wings Game Farm) <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />PROPOSED AMENDMENT TO CHAPTER 180 <br />A public hearing was held to consider the adoption of an amendment to Chapter <br />180 by increasing the load limits for motor vehicles using City streets during the <br />Spring -thaw period from three tons per axle to five tons per axle. There were no <br />oral or written comments. (COUNCILMAN LEROUX ARRIVED AT 7:17PM). <br />Goiffon made motion, Barnes seconded, to adopt ORDINANCE 97-316, AN <br />ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 180 OF THE HUGO CITY CODE <br />ENT MED "MOTOR VEHICLE & TRAFFIC" BY INCREASING SPRING <br />LOAD LIMITS ON CITY STREETS. <br />VOTING AYE: Barnes, Goiffon, Johnson, Leroux, Miron <br />Motion Carried. <br />PROPOSED IMPROVEMENTS IN PELOOUIN INDUSTRIAL PARK AND <br />ADJACENT AREA (PUBLIC HEARING) <br />A public hearing was conducted to consider the making of improvements by the <br />construction of sanitary sewer, storm sewer, municipal water, curb and gutter, and <br />street improvements to the Peloquin Industrial Park and adjacent area. The <br />hearing was called to order with the following comments: <br />
