City Council meeting of March 3, 1997 <br />Page 3 <br />s1_' ••� i <br />Todd Hubmer of WSB was present to discuss the Hardwood Creek profile <br />investigation. The Rice Creek Watershed District determined the project cost at <br />$43,000, and requested that Hugo provide a contribution of $15,000. The City <br />has not budgeted for this cost. <br />Leroux made motion, Barnes seconded, to approve the joint Hardwood Creek <br />profile project with the RCWD, at a cost not to exceed $15,000.00. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />Miron made motion, Leroux seconded, directing City staff to schedule a joint <br />meeting with the RCWD for sometime.in early April, and develop a potential <br />agenda for consideration by the Council at their meeting of March 17, 1997. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />129TH STREET NORTH GUARDRAIL REPLACEMENT <br />Miron made motion, Goiffon seconded, to accept the bid of H & R Construction <br />for the replacement of the guardrail along the north side of 129th Street North at <br />the Bald Eagle Lake Outlet, at a cost of $1,650.00. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />APPROVE PLANS/SPECS AND ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR PROJECT 97-1 <br />FOR STREET AND UTILITIES FOR FLAY AVENUE/150TH STREET (POST <br />OFFICE) AND INGERSOLL AVENUE <br />The City Engineer is proposing a bid -opening date of April 3, 1997 at 11:OOAM, <br />and awarding the bid at the Council meeting of April 7th. <br />Barnes made motion, Johnson seconded, to approve the plans and specs for the <br />Project 97-1 for street and utilities for Flay Avenue/150th Street and Ingersoll <br />Avenue and advertise for bids, as specified by the City Engineer. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />CORRESPONDENCE <br />The Mayor received a letter from Glen Reimer regarding construction of the new <br />Post Office located north of his residence. The letter was referred to the City <br />Administrator. <br />
