City Council meeting of April 28, 1997 <br />Page 2 <br />Chief Wisner discussed a letter from the City Attorney regarding installation of sprinkler <br />systems. Mr. Wisner would like sprinkler systems installed in any new construction or <br />major remodeling of commercial/industrial buildings in the MUSA area. <br />Miron made motion, Barnes seconded, that the City Council be provided a copy of Greg <br />Caller's letter regarding sprinkler systems, staff review the matter, and place on a future <br />Council agenda. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />Chief Wisner discussed the possibility of obtaining a vehicle from DNR surplus for use as <br />a tanker. The vehicle being considered needs clutch work. The Council would like more <br />particulars about the vehicle before approval can be given. <br />The Council discussed Rice Creek's cleaning of Hardwood Creek adjacent to T.H. 61 and <br />Forest Road. <br />Barnes and Leroux summarized the park meeting held at the Hugo Elementary School on <br />April 26, 1997. <br />Leroux made motion, Goiffon seconded, to adjourn at 9:45PM. <br />All aye.
