MINUTES FOR THE HUGO CITY COUNCIL MEETING OF NNE 2.1997 <br />The meeting was called to order by acting Mayor, James Leroux, at 7:07PM. <br />PRESENT: Barnes, Goiffon, Johnson, Leroux <br />Mayor Fran Miron arrived at 7:16PM. <br />City Administrator, Robert Museus <br />City Attorney, Greg Galler <br />City Engineer, Tom Angus <br />City Clerk, Mary Ann Creager <br />ADDITIONS TO AGENDA <br />Request to advertise for part-time public works employee. <br />Request for partial payment for 150th Street project. <br />Fire Hall meeting report. <br />Discuss new Post Office (drainage/speed zone) <br />Discuss Good Neighbor Days <br />Leroux made motion, Goiffon seconded, to approve the following Consent Agenda: <br />General Claims for June 2, 1997 <br />1997/1998 Street Maintenance Contract <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />1997/1998 STREET MAINTENANCE CONTRACT <br />The Council reviewed for approval the proposed Street Maintenance Contract from <br />Washington County for the upcoming year. Adoption of the consent agenda approved the <br />Agreement as presented. <br />CITY COUNCIL MINUTES <br />Barnes made motion, Leroux seconded, to approve the minutes for the Hugo City Council <br />meeting of May 19, 1997, as amended. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />VARIANCE REQUEST - WILSON <br />Max and Cheryl Wilson, 14880 Homestead Ave. North, requested a variance to construct <br />a 1,440 sq ft accessory building closer to the front lot line than the principal building. The <br />Board of Zoning Adjustments considered the Wilson's request on May 28, 1997 and <br />recommended approval of the variance. Council member Johnson questioned how <br />
