Motion Carried. <br />ZONING ADMINISTRATOR CONTRACT SERVICES <br />Given the increasing workload in all areas of the City, the large number <br />of planning and development projects to be undertaken in the coming year, <br />and to improve service quality, staff recommended that the Council <br />consider hiring a contract zonino administrator to review and make <br />recommendations upon zoning and subdivision applications being made to the <br />City. It would be the City's intent to adjust the application fee for <br />zoning actions to fulls/ cover any additional expense required by <br />contracting to the service. The Council reviewed a sample Agreement, <br />which may be used between the City and Loucks and Associates, for these <br />services. Mr. Ed Elliott was present to answer questions. <br />Miron made motion, Barnes seconded, directing staff to pose the idea to <br />the Planning Commission, obtaining their comments, and reporting them to <br />the Council. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />CITY ADMINISTRATOR'S SALARY REVIEW <br />At Council request, the City Council received comparative information and <br />salary history of the City Administrator at the last City Council meeting. <br />Miron made motion, Barnes seconded, to table this matter until the Council <br />meeting of March 4, 1996. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />APPLICATION DEADLINES <br />The Council discussed correspondence received from the City Attorney <br />regarding new legislation that would set new time deadlines for requests <br />"relating to zoning and septic systems". <br />GRAN -f' APDL i CATION <br />Miron made motion. LeroUX seconded, to adopt RESOLUTION 96-1, A RESOLUTION <br />AUTHORIZING PETER WILLENBRING TO SUBMIT A PREAPPLICATION TO THE DNR TO <br />OBTAIN FUNDING FOR THE CLEARWATER CREEK* GREENWA'i CORRIDOR PROJECT. <br />VOTING AYE: Barnes.
