Goiffon seconded, to approve the Planning/Zoning <br />Administrator Contract between Loucks and Associates and the City of Hugo <br />to provide zoning administration services to the community. <br />Barnes made motion, Miron seconded, to amend the previous motion that a <br />"termination" clause be added to the Contract. <br />VOTE ON AMENDMENT: All aye. Motion Carried. <br />VOTE ON ORIGINAL MOTION: All aye. Motion Carried. <br />Miron made motion. LaValle seconded, directing the City Administrator <br />review the City's fee schedule and make a recommendation to the Council <br />with fee adjustments. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />PARK PLANNING CONSULTANT <br />At their meeting of March 27, 1996, the Planning Commission considered <br />their work plan for the year, and recommended that the City request <br />proposals from qualified firms and individuals to assist them in <br />preparation of the community's park plan. Hiring a consultant is a <br />budgeted item for this year. <br />Leroux made motion. Miron seconded, authorizing the Planning Commission t <br />request proposals from qualified firms and individuals to assist time in <br />preparation of the community's park plan. <br />VOTING AYE: Barnes, Goiffon, Leroux, Miron <br />VOTING NAY: LaValle <br />Motion Carried. <br />PLANNING CONSULTANT (ZONING ORDINANCES AND SUBDIVISION REGULATIONS) <br />The Planning Commission recommended retaining the firm of Loucks and <br />Associates to assist them in preparation of the City's revised zoning <br />ordinance and subdivision regulations based on the recently revised Comp <br />Plan. Loucks and Associates assisted the PC in preparation of the Plan, <br />and already has the necessary background for implementing these documents. <br />Miron made motion. Goiffon seconded, that the City retain the services of <br />Loucks and Associates to assist the Planning Commission in preparation of <br />the City's revised zoning and subdivision ordinances, based on the <br />recently revised Comp Plan, at a cost not to exceed $5,000. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />QUARTERLY FINANCIAL REVIEW <br />Eased on the Council's stated interest to receive more detailed <br />information on the City's finances on a regular basis, staff recommended <br />the implementation of quarterly financial reviews by the Council. Since <br />it is envisioned that these reviews will be rather detailed and time <br />consuming, staff also recommended that the Council establish a workshop <br />date in late April to review the City's first quarter financial <br />operations. <br />
