City Council meeting of June 17, 199' <br />Paae 4 <br />DOWNTOWN DESIGN GUIDELINES <br />The City Administrator requested that the City Council consider two of the <br />proposed design guidelines recently submitted by Hoisington K'oegler for <br />the redevelopment of the downtown area; specifically: <br />1. The use of wood -framed, metal -sided buildings as an architectural <br />standard for the area. <br />2. The potential benefits and problems of on -street parking along Forest <br />Boulevard. <br />No action was taken on this matter due to lack of time. <br />FIFE HALL SITE SELECTION <br />The Fire Department will complete development of background information on <br />site selection for construction of the Fire Hall in the near future. They <br />requested a -meeting with the Council on June 25, 1996, to discuss site <br />selection for the new Fire Hall. <br />Miron made motion, Barnes seconded, to schedule a special meeting of the <br />Hugo City Council for June 25, 1996, Hugo City Hall, at 9:00AM, to discuss <br />further the site selection for the new Fire Hall. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />Barnes made motion, Goiffon seconded. to recess tonight's meeting_ at <br />11 :0OPM until June 25, 1996, at 9:OOAM. <br />All aye.
