MINUTES FOR THE HUGO CITY COUNCIL MEETING OF JULY 15, 1996 <br />The meeting was called to order by Mayor Fran Miron at 7:15 PM. <br />PRESENT: Barnes. Leroux„ Miron <br />City Attorney, Greg Galler <br />City Engineer. Tom Angus <br />City Planner, Ed Elliott <br />City Clerk, Mary Ann Creager <br />ABSENT: Andrew Goiffon <br />ADDITIONS TO AGENDA <br />Special Use Permit (Ehnstrom) <br />Barnes made motion. Leroux: seconded, to adopt the following Consent <br />Agenda: <br />Claims for July 15, 1996 <br />Charitable Gamblinq License (Blacksmith Lounge) <br />Subdivision (Keystone Estates) <br />Variance to Driveway Width (14020 Finale) <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />Barnes made motion, Leroux seconded, to approve the minutes for the City <br />Council meeting of July 1. 1996, as amended. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />EHNSTROM (SPECIAL USE PERMIT) <br />The request of Lawrence and Kathleen Ehnstrom, 14043 Fondant Avenue, for a <br />SUP to construct an •_0' x: 40' accessory building was considered at the <br />Council meeting of July 1, 1996. The Ehnstroms' lot location was <br />clarified, but no newly designed site plan had been submitted. Council <br />member Barnes felt that the proposed building was inconsistent with the <br />residential neiqhborhood, no hardship existed, and was concerned with two <br />driveways on the site. <br />Miron made motion. Leroux: seconded, to table this matter until the Council <br />meeting of August 5, 1996, to allow time for resubmittal of a redesigned <br />building. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />WASHINGTON COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPT. <br />Sergeant Jim Fure was present at the meeting to see if the Council had any <br />concerns, and stated that there were no particular criminal "trends" in <br />the City. <br />SPECIAL USE PERMIT (BURMEISTER) <br />The Council reviewed a copy of the backq round information and minutes from <br />the Planning Commission meeting of June 26. 1996 relating to Mr. <br />Burmeister's request.
