Mr. Burmeister presented the Council with a registered survey indicating the requested information. Miron made motion, Barnes seconded, to approve the request of Greg Burmeister for a SUP to construct a 60' x; 80' accessory building prior to the construction of a residence, subject to the following special conditions: I. Construction of the residence is to issuance of the Special Use Permit. 2. A letter of credit or cash deposit, submitted to insure removal of the residence is not constructed. 3. Use of the accessory building shall zoning ordinance. VOTING AYE: Barnes, Miron ABSTAINED: Leroux: Motion Carried. SUNSET LAME HOMEOWNER REQUEST commence within 18 months of the in the amount of $1,000, shall be accessory building in the event the comply fully with the City's Mr. Greg Sheehan, 12757 Homestead Drive, representing the Sunset Lake Homeowners Association, requested that the City erect, maintain, and enforce sufficient NO PARKING signs along 125th Street/Illies Avenue, at the south end of Sunset Lake, to preserve pedestrian and vehicular safety in this area. He states that it is the Association's opinion, that this will promote safety, reduce littering, and avoid trespassinq. The City had the brush cut within the right-of-way of 125th Street/Illies Avenue earlier this year. The City then received complaints from local property owners that this reduced the privacy along the lake, and caused erosion of the shoreline. In response to these complaints, Michael Lamb of Loucks and Associates viewed the area, and stated that the amount of land between Illies Avenue and the lake was too small to permit for planting trees or other vegetation, and that the brush, naturally on the site, would grow back relatively quick. Some erosion has been noticed, largely due to the action of wildlife and wind action. Adding riprap along this section of lakeshore has already been ordered. The City Engineer inspected the site and stated that there were sufficient NO PARKING signs. and that it is an enforcement problem rather than inadequate signs. Diane Coderre addressed the Council stating that there were many small children running along the lake area, trash left by fishermen, and shoreline erosion caused by pedestrian traffic. The Council stated that issues similar to those raised by Sunset Lake homeowners will be addressed in the City's Master Park. Plan, when adopted. Miron made motion. Barnes seconded, directing City staff to take care of the following: 1. Maintain trash pickup at the City's access located at the north end o the lake.
