MINUTES FOR THE HUGO CITY COUNCIL MEETING OF JULY 1. 1996 <br />The meetinq was called to order by acting Mayor. Jim LeroUX. at 7:00 PM. <br />PRESENT: Barnes. Goiffon, LerOUX <br />City Administrator, Robert Museus <br />City Attorney, Greg Galler <br />City Engineer, Tom Angus <br />City Clerk, Mary Ann Creager <br />ABSENT: Fran Miron <br />ADDITION TO AGENDA <br />City complaints regarding land -use issues <br />Goiffon made motion. LeroUX seconded, to adopt the following Consent <br />Agenda: <br />City Council minutes of June 13, 1996 <br />City Council minutes of June 17, 1996 <br />City Council minutes of June 25, 1996 <br />Claims for July 1, 1996 <br />Special Use Permit Renewal (LaMetti) <br />Amended Special Use Permit (CeeJays Auto) <br />Special Use Permit (Mogren) <br />Summer Employee <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />SPEECIAL USE PERMIT/VARIANCE (EHNSTROMI <br />Lawrence and Kathleen Ehnstrom, 14047-. Fondant Avenue North, requested to <br />build a 30' X 40', 1200 sq. ft. accessory building, exceeding the 260 <br />square feet maximum permitted in the SFU zone by 940 sq ft. In addition, <br />the placement of the structure is proposed to be 20 ft. from the rear <br />property line, 10 feet closer than the district allows. The request is <br />being submitted to store a large, recreational vehicle and other personal <br />property. The Planning Commission considered their request on June 26, <br />1996, and recommended denial based on excessive size for the SFU zone. <br />Councilman LeroUX stated that he had received a call from the Ehnstroms <br />stating their willinqness to downsize their request to a 28' 28' square <br />foot building, lowering the height of the roof, and meeting all setback <br />requirements. <br />Goiffon made motion, Barnes seconded, to table this request to allow the <br />Ehnstroms to submit a revised application, including clarification of <br />their lot lines. <br />All. aye. Motion Carried. <br />SITE FLAN APPROVAL - LESSARD/NYREN UTILITIES <br />Lessard/Nyren Utilities, 17385 Forest Blvd., requested site plan approval <br />for an addition to the existinq office/shop building. The 20' X 40' <br />addition (800 sq. ft.) would'be used for inside storage of shop <br />
