hEMUTES FOR THE HUGO CITY COUNCEL MEETING OF OCTOBER 21,19% <br />The meeting was called to order by Mayor Fran Moon at 7:10PM. <br />PRESENT: Agness, Barnes, Goiffon, Miron <br />City Administrator, Robert Museus <br />City Attorney, Greg Galler <br />City Engineer, Tom Angus <br />City Clerk, Mary Ann Creager <br />ABSENT: Tun Leroux <br />V Di <br />9. Post Office Escrow Request <br />10. Peterson Auto Forfeiture <br />Moon made motion, Goiffon seconded, to approve the following Consent Agenda <br />items: <br />General Claims for October 21, 1996 in the amount of $66,474.81. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />Moon made motion, Barnes seconded, to approve the minutes for the City Council <br />meeting of October 7, 1996, as amended. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />SPECIAL USE PERMIT (PEI <br />At the Council meeting of October 7, 1996, the City Council considered the request of <br />Kevin and Jean Peltier and SBA, Inc., to construct a 150' monopole on the Peltiers' <br />property 5787 -130th Street (southwest corner of 130th Street and Goodview Avenue). <br />The Planning Cornmission previously considered this request and reoommended approval <br />of the SUP for the site. The Council expressed concerns regarding the impact of the <br />proposed antenna on the Benson Airport, whether this type of use should be covered by a <br />franchise, and the potential need for construction of a public road along the easement being <br />granted to SBA for access to the antenna site. In order to consider these matters, the <br />Council tabled action on the SUP until this evening's meeting. 4, 1996. Trevor Blaska, <br />representing SBA, Inc., presented the Council with an AIRSPACE SAFETY ANALYSIS <br />for Benson Airport for their review. Because the City Attorney did not receive data <br />regarding franchising until this evening, the Council made the following motion: <br />Miron made motion, Agness seconded, to table action on this request until the meeting of <br />November 4, 1996. <br />AD aye. Motion Carried. <br />
