City Council meeting of December 2, 1996
Page 7
Washington County has requested that the City Council adopt a resolution
approving the construction plans for the Hardwood Creek Trail along T.H. 61.
The plans show the trail will remain along the alignment of the abandoned
Burlington Northern railroad tracks through Hugo, at approximately the same
grade. Approaches to the City roadways will be sloped, and appropriate signs will
be placed on the road and trail at these intersections. Hardwood Creek will be
crossed through a prestressed, concrete bridge. It is expected that future
reconstruction of T.H. 61 will cause reconstruction of the trail through the
downtown area at sometime in the future.
Mron made motion, Leroux seconded, to adopt RESOLUTION 96-15, A
RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS FOR PROJECT NO.
