MINUTES FUR l"HE HUGO C I'1 'Y COLJNC I l._ ME [wT :[ NG OF J ANUARY 17 . 1995 <br />The meeting was called to order by Mayor M.iron at 7:00 PM. <br />PRESENT: Barnes, Goiffon, Leroux, LaValle, Miran <br />City Administrator, Robert Museus <br />Attorney, Kevin Shoeberg <br />City Engineer, Joel Dresel <br />City Clerk, Mar;: Ann C:reager <br />Leroux: made motion, Goiffon seconded, to approve the minutes for the City <br />Council meeting of January j, 19959 as submitted. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />Leroux: made motion, Goiffon seconded, to approve the minutes for the <br />special City Council meeting of January 9, 1995, as submitted. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />Leroux; made motion, Barnes seconded, to approve the claims for January 17, <br />1995, in the amount of $257,993.82. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />M I NOR SUBDIVISION (YOUNG) <br />Terrance and Josephine Young, .17.96 Ingersoll Avenue North, requested a <br />minor subdivision of a. 40 acre parcel into two 20 acre parcels. A <br />variance was required r..iue to the presence of an NSF' right-.•-of-way across <br />both proposed parcels reducing the net -parcel size to 1B.7 acres each.. <br />The Council considered the Youngs' request on 11/21/94, and tabled ac::t..iorl <br />pending review, by the City Engineer, of the proposed driveway access to <br />Ingersoll Avenue. The Engineer's report was provided to the Council for <br />their consideration. <br />Barnes made motion, Leroux seconded, to approve the minor subdivision and <br />variance to lot size, for Terrance and Josephine Young, to subdivide 40 <br />acres into .18.7 acre parcels.. Approval is subject to the following <br />conditions: <br />1. The Youngs shall be financially responsible for lowering Ingersoll. <br />Avenue by approximately two feet to improve traffic safety. Cost for <br />this improvement is estimated at $1,700.00. <br />2. The Youngs shall dedicate the eastern T_ feet of their property for <br />2/3's of its length or as determined necessary by the Cit.;: Engineer, <br />as road right-of-way for Ingersoll Avenue. <br />3. The Youngs shall pay a $500.00 parkland dedication fee. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />EXTENSION OF CONTRACT AGREEMENT (BUILDERS MANAGEMENT SERVICES. INC.) <br />Builders Management Services, Inc., developers of the subdivision known as <br />ONEhA ESTATES, has requested an extension of the time allowed for filing <br />of the final plat at the County Recorder. Hugo City Code, Chapter 90-6, <br />Subd. L(Y), provides that all approved plats shall be recorded with the <br />
