MINUTES FOR THE HUGO CITY COUNCIL MEETING OF MAY 1. 1995 <br />The meeting was called to order by Mayor Fran Miron at 7:10 PM. <br />PRESENT: Barnes, Goiffon, LaValle, Leroux, Miron <br />City Administrator, Robert Museus <br />City Attorney, Greg Galler <br />City Engineer, Joel Dresel <br />City Clerk, Mary Ann Creager <br />The following items were added to tonight's agenda: <br />Crack filling, advertise for fire fighters, Fire Dept. SOP, <br />status of Post <br />Office, and letter from Jody Lessard. <br />Leroux made motion, LaValle, seconded, to adopt the following <br />consent <br />agenda: <br />Minutes for Council meeting of April 17, 1995 <br />Minutes for Council meeting of April 24, 1995 <br />Claims for May 1, 1995 in the amount of $20.165.5o <br />Special Use Permit for Shepherd of the Fields Church <br />Request to Use Rice Lake Park Building <br />Variance Request for Muellner <br />Variance Request for Brimmer <br />The foregoing consent agenda was adopted unanimously. <br />PUBLIC HEARING (LIQUOR ORDINANCE VIOLATION <br />A public hearing was scheduled to consider allegations that <br />Mr. Leonard <br />Minich, owner of R.J.'s Lounge, violated his liquor license <br />by selling <br />alcoholic beverages to persons under the age of 21. Staff <br />had attempted <br />to resolve this issue through a Stipulation Agreement, but <br />Mr. Minich did <br />not responded. Mr. Minich appeared before the Council, and <br />requested that <br />the hearing be postponed so that his witnesses could be in <br />attendance. <br />LeroUX made motion, Goiffon seconded, that the hearing be continued <br />until <br />May 15,1995. No further extensions will be considered after <br />this date. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />WASHINGTON COUNTY REVISED COMPREHENSIVE PLAN PRESENTATION <br />Ms. Jane Harper, fiscal development planner for Washington <br />County, was <br />present to explain and discuss Washington County's proposed <br />Comprehensive <br />Plan. <br />COUNTY ROAD GA AGREEMENT <br />The Council considered a Cooperative Agreement between the City of Hugo <br />and Washington County for the construction costs relating to the <br />improvement to C.R. GA, including $182,775 for City utility work, $5,913 <br />for driveway aprons, $46,822 for sidewalk, $14,000 for engineering, and <br />$3,500 as the City's portion of right-of-way acquisition, for a total <br />project cost of $253,010.
