Citi Council meeting of July 17, 1995 <br />Page <br />CIVIL PENALTIES-ORDINANCE <br />Miron made motion. Leroux; seconded, to schedule a. public hearing for <br />Monday, August 21, 1995, at 7:1(--) PM, to consider a proposed ordinance <br />establishing Chapter 232 providing for systems and procedures for the <br />processing of allegations of violations regarding City-issued licenses and <br />permits and providing civil remedial sanctions for violations thereof. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />ADDENDUM TO _LOUCK.S REPORT (STOLTZ.MAN MATTER)_ <br />The City received an Addendum to the LolAcks report, as provided at the <br />time of application for a Special Use Permit by Walter L. Stoltzman. <br />Leroux; made motion, Goiffon seconded, that the City accepts and <br />acknowledges the Addendum to the Loucks report, as amended. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />JAMES BREV I G D I SCI.ISS I ON ON WFC I T'TEN F'E UES'1''S <br />'rhe City received two requests from James Brevig that the City consider- <br />adoption of an Ordinance which would designate certain roadways within the <br />for him to operate his golf cart. <br />Mir-on made motion, Leroux seconded, to deny Mr. Breviq's request because <br />r.l road safety concerns. <br />011.1 aye. Motion Carried. <br />Mr-. Dreviq also requested that the City abandon the temporary 15' drainage <br />easement to drain along his northern property line. The City Engineer <br />stated that because of current and future need of this area for future <br />utility services, and that the Management Plan for the Homestead Avenue <br />pond has not yet been completed, he recommended not vacatiinq the easement <br />at this time. <br />Miron made motion, LaValle seconded, to deny the request because the City <br />could need the easement for some purpose in the future. <br />All aye. <br />BROWN'S CREEK STUDY <br />Hugo's representative on the BCWMO was present at. the meeting to request <br />financial assistance from the City to do a study to determine methods for <br />protecting the Brown's Creek trout stream. The City Council stated that <br />they were willing to participate if the WMO would also do a stud/ to <br />determine solutions to the flooding on 140th Street and C.R. 57. <br />Leroux: made motion, Goiffon seconded, to approve payment of the $200 <br />request, and a letter be sent asking that the WMO study the flooding <br />problems adjacent to Lake Plaisted and School Section Lake. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />
