City Council meeting of September 18. 1995 <br />Page 4 <br />POST OFFICE PURCHASE OPTION <br />The Council reviewed the Purchase Agreement for the sale of approximately <br />one acre of property located at the intersection of T.H. 61 and 150th <br />Street to the U.S. Postal Service for use as a Post Office site. <br />Miran made motion, Leroux seconded, to approve the Assignable Option to <br />Purchase for the proposed Post Office site, and authorize the Mayor, City <br />Administrator, and City Clerk to sign the Agreement on behalf of the City. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />PARKING COMPLAINT <br />Councilman LaValle received a complaint about trucks parking on 147th <br />Street by customers of Subway's. It was determined that the roadway was <br />too narrow to accommodate truck parking. <br />Barnes made motion, LaValle seconded, to adopt RESOLUTION 95-12, A <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE INSTALLATION OF NO PARKING SIGNS BE INSTALLED <br />ON BOTH SIDES OF 147TH STREET FROM T.H. 61 WEST TO FITZGERALD AVENUE. <br />VOTING AYE: Barnes, Goiffon, LaValle, Leroux, Miron <br />Motion Carried. <br />BROWN'S CREEK WMO <br />Lerou>: made motion, LaValle seconded, to adopt RESOLUTION 95-13, A <br />RESOLUTION ENDORSING THE FORMATION OF A BROWN'S CREEK. WATERSHED DISTRICT. <br />VOTING AYE: Barnes, Goiffon, LaValle, LeroUX, Miron <br />Motion Carried. <br />Leroux made motion, Goiffon seconded, to adjourn at 10:40 PM. <br />All aye.
