City Council meeting of October 2, 1995 <br />Page 5 <br />CORRESPONDENCE <br />The City received a letter from Louann Lindbeck with an offer to install a <br />park bench, bike rack, or other similar items, at no cost to the City, as <br />part of an American Education Week Project. <br />Miron made motion, LaValle seconded: directing City staff to address the <br />letter from Ms. Lindbeck and request installation of a bike rack in the <br />City's park adjacent to City Hall. <br />Al� aye. Motion Carried. <br />The City received a letter from Scott Neamy requesting an official <br />document from the City giving permission to the Sunshiners 4H Club to <br />proceed with the restoration project at the Walker Cemetery. <br />Miron made motion. Leroux seconded, directing City staff to address the <br />letter from Scott Neamy and forward a copy of the City ordinance <br />regulating cemeteries within the City. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />MISCELLANEOUS <br />Wally Stoltzman addressed the Council regarding a request from the owner <br />of the Twin Pine Mobile Home Park for a speed study on T.H. 61 in front of <br />the Park:. The City Administrator will follow up on the request and report <br />at the next Council meeting. <br />The intersection of T.H. 61 and 145th Street needs minor maintenance for <br />pedestrian traffic. The City Administrator will inspect and report. <br />Bill Wunderlich addressed the Council requesting that a public access be <br />provided to School Section Lake. <br />Leroux made motion, Goiffon seconded, to adjourn at 10:06 PM. <br />All aye.
