City Council meeting of December 4, 1995 <br />Page 5 <br />MAY TOWNSHIP MEETING <br />Administrator Museus gave a brief report of the recent meeting with May <br />Township regarding flooding problems in our communities. <br />WILSON TOOL <br />LaValle made motion, Goiffon seconded, to schedule a special meeting of <br />the Hugo City Council for January 25, 1996, at 7:30 PM, to meet with <br />representatives of Wilson Tool to tour their place of business. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />ANIMAL CONTROL CONTRACT <br />LerouX made motion, Barnes seconded, to table action on the revised Animal <br />Control Contract until December 18, 1995. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />GENERAL_ CORRESPONDENCE <br />There has been general discussion regarding a possible dinner meeting with <br />the RCWD on January 17, 1996, at the White Bear Country Inn. This matter <br />will be discussed further at the Council meetinq of December 18, 1995. <br />The Cit;: received a letter from WBL Area Public Schools requesting that <br />the City assist them in the development of a District 64 Comprehensive <br />Development Plan. <br />Miron made motion, Lerou:; seconded, that the City Administrator assist the <br />WB school district in their efforts to develop a Comprehensive Development <br />Plan. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />MODERN RECYCLING <br />At this time, Modern Recycling does not have a license to operate in the <br />City of Hugo. Attorney Galler stated that a Washington County deputy <br />investigated the site, and reported that business was being conducted a <br />usual. It was Attorney Galler's recommendation that leoal action be <br />started to stop Modern Recycling from conducting business until they <br />obtain a license from the City. <br />Barnes made motion, Miron seconded, authorizing the City Attorney to start <br />legal action against Modern Recycling to prevent them from conducting <br />business until they obtain a license from the City. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />CARNELIAN MARINE WATERSHED VACANCY <br />The City received notice that a vacancy exists on the Carnelian Marine <br />Watershed District, the term to expire on June 21, 1996.
