Planning Commission Minutes — February 14, 2011 <br />Page 2 <br />Review of Commercial and Industrial Desitn Guidelines <br />Planner, Rachel Juba, gave the background to the Planning Commission. She explained that this <br />would be an update from previous EDA, Planning Commission, and subcommittee meetings. <br />Rachel went through each of the sections with the Commission and asked for feedback from the <br />Planning Commission. <br />Schumann commented that he thought staff did a nice job. He asked the members of the <br />subcommittee if they had any additional comments. <br />The subcommittee members did not have any additions. <br />Schumann added that the signage portion was good. He thought any project could look tacky <br />with inappropriate signage. <br />Schumann motioned, Rosenquist seconded, to approve the draft for recommendation to the City <br />Council. <br />All Ayes, motion carried. <br />Bryan thanked the subcommittee members for the hard work putting together the design <br />guidelines. <br />Adjournment <br />Rosenquist motioned, Kleissler seconded, to adjourn at 7:35 PM <br />All Ayes.
