Planning Commission Minutes — July 9, 2009 <br />Page 2 <br />Galler asked the hours of operation and if there was any other employees that would be working <br />at the hospital. <br />Michelle answered that normal hours of operation would be from 7:30am to 5pm with extended <br />hours a few nights a week until 7:30pm. She also explained that she would start the business as <br />the only employee however as business grows the hospital has room for up to 12 employees. <br />Burmiester asked if it would only be serving dogs and cats or if they would treat other animals. <br />Michelle answered that it would mainly be dogs and cats, however has had experience with other <br />animals and depending on the type of pet she would use her discretion on treating them. <br />Schumann Closed the public hearing. <br />Schmann asked if the sidewalks being built along the roads would be of good use. <br />Rachel stated that Victor Gardens is a walkable development and would fit the character of the <br />area and she believed that the residents would make good use of them. <br />Kleissler made a motion, Moore seconded, to approve the Pre Plat, Final Plat and PUD general <br />plan as presented. <br />All ayes, motion carried. <br />Discussion on Interim Use Permits, Special Event Permits, Transient Merchant & Peddlers <br />Rachel gave a background to the Planning Commission. Staff recommended that the topics be <br />brought to the Ordinance Review Committee for revisions. <br />Schumann Motioned, Galler seconded, to advise staff to bring the topics to the ORC for <br />revisions. <br />All ayes, motion carried. <br />Resignation of Planning Commission member Doug Galler <br />Schumann expressed his appreciation and commended Doug Galler for his Service on the <br />Planning Commission. <br />Appointment of new member to the Ordinance Review Committee <br />Kleissler Motioned, Galler seconded, to appoint Bronwen Kleissler to the ORC. <br />
