MINUTES <br />HUGO PLANNING COMMISSION <br />April 14, 2005 <br />Call to Order <br />Chairman Schumann called the meeting to order at 7:07 p.m. <br />PRESENT: Bailly, Hoffbeck, Kleissler, Rosenquist, Schumann, Weidt <br />ABSENT: McRoberts <br />ALSO PRESENT: Bryan Bear, Community Development Director <br />Michele Lindau, Community Development Assistant <br />Kendra Lindahl, Planner <br />Minutes of March 24, 2005 <br />Weidt made motion, Hoffbeck seconded, to approve the minutes of March 10, 2005 as <br />submitted. <br />Ayes: Hoffbeck, Rosenquist, Schumann, Weidt <br />Abstain: Kleissler, Bailly <br />Motion carried. <br />Randy Nugent - Pavement Guys Holdings, LLC for Site Plan, Variance, CUP <br />The Commission held a public hearing to consider the application of Pavement Guys Holdings, <br />LLC, 6937 West Shadow Lake Drive, Lino Lakes, for approval of a site plan, variance, and <br />conditional use permit to allow construction of a 15,065 square foot office/warehouse building <br />on a vacant lot in the Peloquin Industrial Park. The applicant is requesting a variance to permit a <br />30 foot side yard setback where 40 feet is required by ordinance and a conditional use permit to <br />allow exterior storage. <br />The Planner presented the application to the Commission. The foot print of the building would <br />be 12,000 square feet with a mezzanine. She informed the Commission that the applicant was <br />currently storing vehicles and equipment on the site without City approval. <br />Rosenquist said he felt the handicap parking was located too far from the entrance, and the <br />Planner said she would check with the State to see if there were any requirements. <br />
