MINUTES <br />HUGO PLANNING COMMISSION <br />March 27, 2003 <br />Call to Order <br />Chairperson Schumann called the meeting to order at 7:11 p.m. <br />PRESENT: Bailly, Kleissler, Malaski, Peltier, Schumann <br />ABSENT: McRoberts, Rosenquist <br />ALSO PRESENT: Kendra Lindahl, Planner <br />Michele Lindau, Planning Commission Secretary <br />Minutes of March 13, 2003 <br />Malaski made motion, Peltier seconded, to approve of the minutes of March 13, 2003 as amended. <br />All Ayes. Motion carried <br />Heritage Development -Eagle Shores <br />The Planning Commission held a public hearing to consider the request of Heritage Development, <br />422 East County Road D, White Bear Lake, for a rezoning to PUD, PUD general plan and <br />preliminary plat for "Eagle Shores" consisting of 11 single family home lots on a 12.16 -acre <br />parcel located north of 122nd St., west of Everton Ave. N. and east of Bald Eagle Lake. The <br />property contains a single family home and the proposed plat would create 10 additional single- <br />family lots. <br />Planner Kendra Lindahl noted that the map printed on the notice mailed to the property owners <br />was incorrect because it did not include the north portion of the site. <br />In November 2002, Heritage Development submitted a Sketch Plan for Planning Commission <br />review. The Commission and Council expressed concern over the use of individual sewage <br />treatment systems because of the potential for septic systems to contaminate nearby Bald Eagle <br />Lake. Since then, the applicant had obtained an easement for sanitary sewer to serve the <br />development. <br />Lindahl presented the plat to the Planning Commission. The Commission discussed the reasons <br />for rezoning to PUD. Lindahl stated the applicant was requesting the PUD in order to provide <br />
