The use would not be easily seen <br />from Elmcrest Avenue North and is compatible with the surrounding properties. <br />5. CONCLUSION <br />The applicant would like to obtain a conditional use permit for an indoor riding arena. The <br />applicant's property and the neighboring properties were previously zoned Agricultural. The <br />agricultural use of the area is still present. Because of this, an indoor riding arena would not be out <br />of character with the surrounding area. The applicant is asking to use her land in a reasonable <br />manner. <br />6. RECOMMENDATION: <br />It's in staffs opinion that the applicant meets all requirements necessary to approve a conditional <br />use permit. <br />Staff recommends approval of the conditional use permit for a 6,600 square foot indoor horse <br />riding arena for the property located at 13961 Elmcrest Avenue North. <br />ATTACHMENTS: <br />1.
