DESCRIPTION OF REQUEST: <br />The Hugo Good Neighbors Food Shelf is requesting approval of a 1,500 building for its new <br />food shelf location on a 0.58 acre property. The food shelf recently acquired a property with <br />money it received from a Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) administered by <br />Washington County. The property is located in the Peloquin Industrial Park at 15106 Francesca <br />Avenue North. The current location is located west of City Hall adjacent to Lions Park on City <br />owned property. <br />2. CONTEXT: <br />A. Surrounding Land Use and Zoning <br />The properties to the north and east are zoned General Industrial (I-3) and are occupied by <br />industrial uses. The properties to the west are zoned General Industrial (I-3) and are occupied by <br />single family homes. The property to the south is zoned Low Density Multiple Density <br />Residential (R-4) and is occupied by the Twin Pines residential development. <br />
