The cut <br />sheets have been reviewed and meet the lighting requirements. <br />The applicant has stated that pole mounted exterior lights will also be installed. The location and <br />types of pole mounted exterior lights shall be reviewed and approved by staff prior to installation. <br />Landscaping <br />Section 90-181 LANDSCAPING of the City Code provides landscaping requirements for <br />developments. In order to meet the landscape requirements, 6 overstory deciduous trees, 3 <br />coniferous trees, 3 ornamental trees, and 30 shrubs are required to be installed. <br />The applicant is proposing to install 6 overstory deciduous trees, 4 coniferous trees, 3 ornamental <br />trees, 30 shrubs, and perennials. This exceeds the landscape requirements. <br />The applicant is proposing the ground cover to be sod around the building and seeded in the <br />remaining areas, if needed. <br />Architecture and building materials <br />The building is designed with a pitched roof and gabled ends. The building will be constructed of <br />pre -finished fiber cement lap siding with fiber cement shakes at the gables. There will be accents <br />of stone including a stone still on all elevations, except the rear. There are several windows at the <br />front of the building and elevated windows along the sides to allow natural light into the <br />building. There will be asphalt shingles on the roof. Although the exact colors of the building <br />materials have not been determined at this time, they are proposed to be of earth tones with the <br />shakes being a bluish hue. Staff will review and approve the colors of the building materials prior <br />to the issuance of a building permit. <br />There will be a canopy with columns at the entrance of the building. The columns will be made <br />of a combination of a composite wood material and a cast stone base with a stone sill. <br />The building generally meets the commercial and industrial construction standards, as well as, <br />the design guidelines. <br />Signage <br />The applicant is not proposing any signage at this time. Section 90-265 SIGNS of the City Code, <br />allows wall signage as well as a monument sign for the property. <br />Prior to installation of any signage the applicant shall apply for a sign permit that will be <br />reviewed and approved by staff. <br />
