Planning Commission Meeting May 23, 2001- page 4 <br />- lay: Schumann <br />Motion carried. <br />Revisions to the Zoning Ordinance and Subdivision Standards <br />The Planning Commission held a public hearing on the draft zoning ordinance that the Commission had been <br />working on the past few months. Schumann opened the public hearing but there were no comments. <br />McRoberts made motion, Peltier seconded, to table discussion on the draft zoning ordinance until the next <br />meeting of the Planning Commission and leave the public hearing open. <br />All Ayes. Motion carried. <br />Special Meeting for June 14, 2001 <br />The Planning Commission discussed scheduling a special meeting on June 14, 2001 for the purpose of <br />reviewing the preliminary plat for Victor Gardens Phase 1, and continuing the public hearing on the draft zoning <br />ordinance. <br />Rosenquist made motion, Peltier seconded, to schedule a meeting of the Planning Commission on June 14, <br />2001. <br />All Ayes. Motion carried. <br />City Hall Site Plan <br />The Planning Commission reviewed the site plan for an 11,600 square foot building on 2.1 acres of property <br />located directly east of the existing City Hall, specifically 14621, 14665, and 14651 Fitzgerald Avenue. The <br />City had acquired three properties that contain existing homes with plans to remove the homes to accommodate <br />the new City Hall. Further, the City will propose to vacate a portion of Fitzgerald Avenue for construction of a <br />parking lot and to tie the proposed site together with the existing City Hall site and parkland. <br />Rooney made motion, Malaski seconded, to recommend approval of the site plan for Hugo City Hall. <br />All Ayes. Motion carried. <br />Adiournment <br />Malaski made motion, Kleissler seconded, to adjourn at 10:40 pm. <br />All Ayes.
