Planning Commission Meeting July 25, 2001- page 4 <br />Revisions to Zoning Ordinance <br />Dennis Rosemark, Rosemark Consulting, continued the discussion with the Planning Commission on revisions <br />to the zoning ordinance. Specifically discussed were the sections of the ordinance pertaining to kennels, changes <br />to the urban reserve purpose statement and name of the district, and side yard setbacks in the Rural Residential <br />district. <br />Staff agreed to make the changes to the ordinance and provide a revised copy to the Planning Commission. <br />Meeting Times <br />The Planning Commission discussed the foreseen need to meet more than once a month and the desire to <br />schedule an adjourn time to prevent meetings running late into the evenings. <br />Malaski made a motion to meet the I" and 3`d Wednesday each month but withdrew the motion when some <br />members said they would be unable to attend because they had previous engagements. <br />The Commission discussed the possibility of meeting the 2nd and 4`h Wednesday of the month and the <br />Community Development Director said he would discuss with the Parks Commission the possibility of <br />changing their meeting day, which is the 2nd Wednesday of the month, allowing Kleissler, the Planning <br />Commission representative on the Parks Commission, to attend the meetings. <br />Adiournment <br />Rooney made motion, Rosenquist seconded, to adjourn at 9:32 p.m. <br />All ayes.
