Minutes for the Planning Commission May 24, 2000 - Page 3 <br />Gary Schoonover, was opposed to the increased traffic and noise caused by the business. <br />The neighbors requested Mr. Kieger conduct no business after 8:00 p.m., and Mr. Keiger expressed <br />willingness to work with the neighbors to resolve the issues. <br />Puleo closed the public hearing. <br />Schumann made motion, Peltier seconded, to table the Conditional Use Permit request to allow issues such <br />as lighting, screening, hours of operation, noise, and other permit requirements to be investigated. <br />All Ayes. Motion carried. <br />Sign Ordinance Amendment <br />Discussion regarding the Conditional Use Permit for Ramberg prompted the Planning Commission to <br />question why a pylon sign would not be appropriate at his location, according to Section 6.61 of Hugo's <br />Land Use Regulations. <br />Puleo made motion, Peltier seconded, to ask the City Council reevaluate, or direct the Planning <br />Commission to reevaluate, the sign ordnance in regard to the requirements in the Agricultural District. <br />After discussion among the Planning Commission members, they felt they needed more time to determine <br />what would be appropriate signs for that district, before any recommendation was made to the City Council. <br />The City Planner offered to provide them some written material on signs for their review. <br />Puleo withdrew his motion, and Peltier withdrew her second. <br />Adiourn <br />Kleissler made motion, Peltier seconded, to adjourn at 10:55 p.m. <br />All Ayes.
