Minutes - 4-23-97 <br />Page 2 <br />INDUSTRIAL SITE PLAN - GLAMOS FAMILY PARTNERSHIP <br />The Glamos Family Limited Partnership, Inc., is requesting to revise the existing <br />industrial site plan to accommodate a 30,000 square foot building addition to the north <br />side of the existing 40,000 square foot, industrial building. The property is located in <br />the Peloquin Industrial Park at 5564 152nd Street. The property is zoned and guided <br />industrial. The proposed addition is planned to match the existing building. The <br />applicant has stated that the expansion involves no new employees. <br />Commissioners expressed concern regarding the unmatched exterior of the existing <br />building, piles of debris on site, lack of landscaping, lack of curb and gutter, and <br />proposed improved roadway. <br />Paul Glamos stated that RCWD has required them to increase the ditch adjacent to <br />Highway 61 by .2 acre feet setting the elevation at approximately 924. Glamos' stated <br />that the exterior of the building would be improved and match the existing construction, <br />creating a uniform appearance. They also agreed to landscape improvements on site. <br />Motion made by Kellison, seconded by Malaski to recommend approval of the site plan <br />for Glamos Family Parnership, 5564 152nd St., subject to the following conditions, to <br />be completed as part of the construction process: <br />1. Remove the debris scattered on site. <br />2. Class 5 base applied to the driveway surface on the east side and dock area of the <br />building. <br />3. Eliminate or relocate the propane tank. <br />4. Reside or paint the building within one year of completion of the proposed <br />construction to create a uniform appearance. <br />5. Approval from RCWD and compliance with conditions. <br />6. Financial guarantee to ensure paving, landscaping, and roadway improvements <br />following the public improvements to 152nd St., and the industrial park. <br />AYE: Waller, Harrison, Schumann, Malaski, Rubenzer, Kellison <br />NAY: Peltier <br />Motion passed. <br />Ed Elliott briefly reviewed the draft Bald Eagle Industrial Park Development Plan. <br />Commissioners Peltier and Schumann suggested a seven member committee be created. <br />Commissioner Waller invited the Commission members to the park planning meeting <br />on Saturday April 26, 1997, at the Hugo Elementary School, from 9 AM to IPM. <br />
