HUGO PLANNING COMMISSION MINUTES - APRII 26, 1.995 <br />The regular meeting was called to order by Chairman Peltier at 7:07PM. <br />PRESENT: Agness, Schumann, Kellison, Peltier, Administrator Museus <br />Carole LaBelle <br />ABSENT: Rubenzer, Miltz-Miller, Malaski <br />Motion made by Schumann, seconded by Peltier to approve the minutes of <br />March 22, 1995 as amended. <br />All aye, motion passed. <br />Commissioner Miltz-Miller arrived at 7:12PM. <br />Motion made by Kellison, seconded by Peltier to approve the minutes of <br />March 30, 1995 as amended. <br />AYE: Agness, Schumann, Kellison, Peltier <br />ABSTAIN: Miltz-Miller <br />Motion passed. <br />Motion made by Schumann, seconded by Kellison to approve the Minutes of <br />April 18, 1.995 as amended (Ed Elliott, with Loucks and Assoc.). <br />All aye, motion passed. <br />SPECIAL USE PERMIT -- DOLAWBARBOUR <br />Dan Dolan Development Inc. and Jeff Barbour have requested a Special Use <br />Permit to construct a stone/brick entrance monument on Lot 1, Block 1, of <br />Duck Pass Subdivision, located at the intersection of 136th St. and County <br />Rd. 8A. The property is zoned RR2 and the monument has already been <br />constructed. The Planning Commission considered this request on March 22, <br />1995, and tabled action on this SUP pending a variance hearing on setback <br />requirements, as well as the presence of the developers to answer <br />questions. <br />Chairman Peltier opened the public hearing. Gene Riopel questioned hwo <br />something could be built without a permit. The public hearing was closed. <br />Commission Miltz-Miller opposed the request because she felt a variance <br />should not be granted because of action caused by the property owner. <br />Commissioner Agness opposed the request because the applicant was absent <br />from the meeting and questions remained unanswered. <br />Motion made by Kellison, seconded by Schumann, to recommend approval of <br />the variance request of Dan Dolan Development, Inc. and Jeff Barbour to <br />construct a stone/brick monument on Lot 1, Block 1, Duck Pass Subdivision <br />12 ft. from the east property line subject to the following conditions. <br />
