Mr. Oswald questioned the date of construction of the pole building and <br />how it could be grandfathered in and how one individual <br />could obtain a <br />special use permit on another persons property' Mr. Oswald <br />stated he is <br />trying to clean up this issue and felt this is not an acceptable <br />use in an <br />agricultural zone. Commissioners Davis and Agness visited <br />the site and <br />felt that the land could support the number of vehicles <br />requested and was <br />not a detriment to the area because is is virtually invisible <br />from anyone <br />passing by the property' <br />Mr. Stoltzman presented a petition signed by 20 neighbors <br />stating they had <br />no objection to the continuance of Stoltzman Automotive. <br />Motion made by Peltier, seconded by Davis to recommend approval <br />of the <br />request of Walter Stoltzman for a special use permit to <br />continue operation <br />of his auto repair business at 8221 157th St. subject to <br />the following <br />special conditions: <br />1. Hours of operation be limited to 7:00AM to 9:00PM, Monday <br />through <br />Saturday. <br />2' The operation shall be screened and exhibit limited <br />evidence of <br />business. <br />3' No advertising signs shall be allowed. <br />4. No more than 25 vehicles waiting to be repaired shall <br />be stored on the <br />site. <br />5' Operator must have a hazardous waste generator license. <br />6' No more than 10 unlicensed vehicles on site <br />AYE: Davis, Agness, Olson, Peltier <br />NAY: Oswald <br />Motion passed. <br />Bob Oswald left the meeting at 9:20PM' <br />Ms. Hilla Morris, SNG Research and Judy Marshik, Research <br />Quik made their <br />presentations for their respective research firms for the <br />opportunity to <br />do the survey to be conducted in Hugo' Each stated the <br />pros and cons of a <br />telephone survey vs. a mail survey. <br />Motion made by Agness, seconded by Peltier to recommend <br />Research Quik for <br />the mail survey process in Hugo. <br />All aye, motion passed. <br />Motion made by Davis, seconded by Agness to adjourn at 10:20PM. <br />All aye, motion passed <br />Carole LaBelle, Secretary <br />
