Minutes - June 23, 1993 <br />Page 2 <br />3' <br />Retail sales are limited to concessions and golf related items. <br />4. <br />All maintenance equipment stored on site shall be kept inside an <br />enclosed structure or building when not in use. <br />5. <br />Minimum building setback of buildings located on this property shall <br />be 50' from the property line. <br />6. <br />No exterior light sources are permitted on the golf course except <br />building lighting and parking lot lights. <br />7. <br />Two exterior speakers placed within 100 it. of the clubhouse with <br />sound not to exceed 40 DB's at any property line. <br />S. <br />Based on the proximity of adjacent residential units, or the number <br />of <br />proposed motorized golf carts, the City may require the use of <br />electrical carts only. Overnight golf cart storage is to be located <br />inside a building or at a location which is screened from street <br />view. <br />9. <br />One sign with a maximum area of 50 sq. ft. is permitted. Directional <br />signs not to exceed 7 sq. ft. each are exempt from this requirement' <br />Primary sign must be setback 10' from public right-of-way unless <br />the <br />City determines that a closer setback will not adversely impact site <br />distances at driveway or street intersections. <br />10. <br />No off season exterior activities are permitted unless authorized <br />by <br />the City and the owner. <br />11. <br />Water quality protective measures are required as follows: <br />A. Maintenance of erosion control barriers during construction <br />and <br />until all ground cover is established. <br />B. A buffer between turf areas and natural water bodies, water <br />courses, or wetlands must be maintained as per site plan. <br />C. To the extent practical runoff must be directed to on site, <br />sedimentation holding ponds with a water quality control <br />structure installed at the outlet prior to water discharge from <br />the premises. <br />D. Site areas in proximity to fuel storage areas shall be designed <br />to direct all runoff to an on site ponding area. <br />E. The chemical storage area must designated to within the accessory <br />building. The area must be surrounded with a curbed barrier. <br />All <br />herbicide, insecticide, and fungicide, rodenticide must be kept <br />in a locked enclosure. <br />F. An inventory manifest of stored chemicals must be posted at <br />the <br />entrance of the storage building. <br />G. Chemicals used on site shall meet the requirements of federal <br />insecticide, fungicide, and rodenticide act, the EPA and the <br />Minnesota PCA law, and the Minnesota Fertilizer Control Law. <br />H. An annual chemical application management plan must be submitted <br />for review and approval by the City. The plan is to specify- <br />pecifychemicals <br />chemicalsused and number of annual applications, application <br />rates and methods and other appropriate information. <br />12. <br />An architect, engineer, or professional landscape architect with <br />experience in designing golf courses must review and approve the <br />safety aspect of the golf course plan. <br />13. <br />To the extent practical the golf course must be designed to minimize <br />potential for activity spill over onto adjacent properties. <br />14. <br />Based on the design of the golf course, the City may require <br />installation of fencing and a lockable gate at an access point. <br />15. <br />A minimum of two satellite restrooms or other acceptable facilities <br />shall be provided for each nine holes. <br />it. <br />Applicants to secure the proposed property to the north before <br />consideration by the City Council. <br />
