December 16, 1992 - 7:00PM <br />The regular meeting was called to order at 7:00PM by Chairman Peltier. <br />PRESENT: Mezzano, Agness, Rubenzer, Oswald, Olson, Peltier, Administrator <br />Museus, Carole LaBelle <br />ABSENT: Davis <br />Motion made by Olson, seconded by Rubenzer to approve the minutes of <br />November 18, as amended. <br />Commissioner Agness recommended the term "concept of a golf course" and <br />"concept approval" be used in paragraphs 5 and 6, page 1. <br />Motion made by Rubenzer, seconded by Peltier to approve the amendment. <br />All aye, motion passed. <br />All aye, motion passed on approval of minutes. <br />Harlee and Fern Anderson have applied to rezone and subdivide their <br />property located in the southwest quarter of the northeast quarter of the <br />southwest quarter of the northwest quarter of the southeast quarter of the <br />southwest quarter, all in Section 32 for the purposes of providing an <br />additional five acres to the golf course currently under development by <br />Howard and Warren Arcand. The current zoning classification of this <br />property is agricultural. Given the RR2 zoning adjacent to the Anderson <br />property and that the Agricultural property surrounding the Anderson <br />property will be used as a golf course, adjacent property conflicts should <br />be minimal. <br />Chairman Peltier opened the public hearing. No one was present to <br />comment. After a brief discussion the following motion was made. <br />Rubenzer made motion, seconded by Oswald to recommend approval of the <br />request of Harlee Anderson to rezone five acres of his twenty acre parcel, <br />legally described as; That part of the Southwest quarter of the northeast <br />quarter of the southwest quarter and of the northwest quarter of the <br />southeast quarter of the southwest quarter, all in Section 32, T31N, R21W, <br />Washington, Minnesota, described jointly as follows: Commencing at the <br />northwest corner of said southwest quarter of the northeast quarter of the <br />southwest quarter; thence southerly, along the west line of the East half <br />of said southwest quarter, a distance of 285 feet to the point of <br />beginning; thence easterly, deflecting to the left 90 degrees 00 minutes, <br />a distance of 225 feet; thence southerly, deflecting to the right 90 <br />degrees 00 minutes, a distance of 220 feet; thence easterly, deflecting to <br />the left 90 degrees 00 minutes, a distance of 200 feet; thence <br />southwesterly, deflecting to tne right 113 degrees 00 minutes, a distance <br />of 400 feet; thence southwesterly, deflecting to the right 18 degrees 12 <br />minutes 48 seconds to said west line of the East half of the southwest <br />quarter; thence northerly, along said west line to the point of <br />beginning. Approval shall be subject to the following special conditions. <br />
