Planning Commission meeting of February 27, 1991 <br />Page 2 <br />referred to the City Council for their review and comment. The City <br />Council met and reviewed this plan and made several suggestions with <br />regard to areas of concern. <br />Representatives from Kuusisto Engineering were present to review these <br />matters and answered questions posed by the Commission. <br />After a lengthy discussion of the above issues, the Planning Commission <br />requested that the engineer's office consider the following matters in <br />their revisions of the comprehensive plan map: <br />1. Expansion of the industrial zones along Highway 61. <br />2. Do not designate depth of commercial strip along Highway 61. <br />3. Commercial area westerly on Frenchman Road be included in the proposed <br />MUSA area. <br />4. Leave the commercial designation on north side of 120th Street, just <br />east of Highway 61. <br />Commissioner Debra Barnes left the meeting at 8:45 PM. <br />Commissioner Chuck Henry asked the Commission to review Ordinance 240, <br />which creates the Planning Commission, and their operating and <br />administrative procedures for possible revisions. These will be discussed <br />at a future Commission meeting. <br />Thoreson made motion, Henry seconded, to adjourn at 9:05 PM. <br />All aye.
