MINUTES OF THE PROCEEDINGS <br />OF THE <br />HUGO PLANNING COMMISSION <br />February 12, 1986 <br />The regular meeting was called to order by Chairman Atkinson at 7:02 PM. <br />PRESENT: Bob Olson, Schoeller, Granger, Fashingbuaer, Rudisill, Ray Olson, Atkinson. <br />Motion made by Ray Olson to approve the minutes of January 22, 1986 as submitted, <br />second by Atkinson. All aye, motion carried. <br />The regular meeting was recessed and the public hearing for Vern Peloquin called <br />to order at 7:05 PM. <br />Vern Peloquin - Subdivision - Mr. Peloquin would like to divide 5.8 acres to be <br />sold to Twin Pine Trailer Park for expansion of the park. The property was <br />rezoned prior to the subdivision application. A letter from Fred Rierman, owner <br />of American Structural Steel was read, stating he has no objection to the ex- <br />pansion as long as residents are aware of the noise factor involved with living <br />in that portion of the park. <br />The Peloquin public hearing was recessed at 7:20 PM. <br />The public hearing for Cal Garley was called to order at 7:30 PM. <br />Cal Garley - Public hearing - Joyce Merwin was representing Mr. Garley and <br />noted work he had done in Shoreview. She recommended contacting them for <br />references. They are proposing six sites for building. <br />Residents concerned with the proposed subdivision included, Vern Peloquin, <br />Sterling Ashby, Oneka Lk. Blvd., Howard Moe, Dennis Schultz, 13101 Henna, <br />Kathy Ashby, 5980 Oneka Lk. Blvd.. Primary concerns were the water problem <br />north of Oneka Lake Blvd., the plugged culverts at Geneva and 147th, and <br />whether the property would be sold or rental units. <br />The Garley public hearing was closed and the Schumann public hearing called <br />to order at 7:52PM. <br />David Schumann - Public hearing - Mr. Schumann would like to continue his existing <br />auto dismantling business being conducted at 7630 132nd St. No special use permit <br />has been issued in the past.
