Planning Commission Minutes <br />June 11, 1986 page 2 <br />Miron Cont. <br />Motion made by Rudisill, seconded by Atkinson to recommend approval with legal <br />description and certificate of survey as opposed to a plat. All aye, motion carried. <br />The regular meeting was recessed and the Schotl public hearing was called to order <br />at 8:02PM. <br />Ken and Barb Schotl Public hearing - There was no public attending to comment. <br />The public hearing was closed and the regular meeting reconvened at 8:10PM. <br />Schotl's own approximately 53 acres and propose to divide 20 acres and retain <br />33 acres. The property is currently recorded as three parcels, they would <br />combine these and divide according to the diagram on file. <br />Motion made by Atkinson, seconded by Rudisill to recommend approval of the <br />subdivision for Ken and Barb Schotl, 9351 130th St. to divide 20 acres from <br />53 acres to create two parcels a 20± acre and a 33± acre. All aye, motion carried. <br />Atkinson made motion, seconded by Ray Olson to recommend approval of the subdivision <br />by certificate of survey and legal description unless a plat or registered land <br />survey is necessary to combine the three parcels and resubdivide into 2 parcels <br />All aye, motion carried. <br />Jerry Thibault - Mr. Thibault recently purchased the sixty acre parcel from <br />George Miron at Ingersoll and 165th. He would like to construct a 60 X 300 <br />pole building for his horses, the building is 200' from the road and his <br />residence (under construction) is approximately 300' from the road. Because there <br />is no limit on accessory buildings on parcels over 20 acres and horse farms <br />and training facilities are permitted in the Ag. and Conservancy zones the <br />commission did not feel an SUP is necessary. <br />Ray Olson made motion, seconded by Bob Olson to recommend approval of the <br />site plan and variance for Jerry Thibault, Ingersoll Ave. to construct a 60 <br />X 300 building closer to the road than the principal building. All aye, <br />motion carried. <br />Howard Moe and Cal Garley - Rice Creek Watershed District and Howard Kuusisto <br />have approved the drainage plan submitted by Moe/Garley, however more information <br />is still needed to complete the preliminary plan for subdivision.
