4 <br />• <br />Planning Commission Minutes <br />October 9, 1985 page 3 <br />Castle Design - cont. <br />8. A permit be approved by Rice Creek Water shed. <br />9. If filled soil on lot 6 will not sit in place for one year prior to con- <br />struction, mechanical means of compaction shall be used and density results <br />approved by the City engineer. <br />All aye, motion carried. <br />Gordon Stromen - Rezoning - Stromen's property lies within two districts, Con- <br />servancy and Agriculture. They would like to zone the entire piece to Agriculture <br />and divide their 20 acres into two ten acre parcels. Property lies south of 165th <br />and west of Ingersoll. <br />Motion made by Rudisill, seconded by Fashingbauer to recommend approval of the <br />request to rezone from Conservancy to Agriculture for G. Stromen. All aye, <br />motion carried. <br />Nancy Cunningham - SUP - Ms. Cunningham would like to construct a pole building <br />for personal use. The property is for sale and the prospective buyer plans to <br />store approximately 200 recreational vehicles outside and use the building for <br />the purpose of restoring and repairing r.v.'s. Ms. Cunningham was informed this <br />was not an allowable use in the agriculture zone. <br />Motion made by Schoeller, Olson seconded to recommend denial of special use <br />permit application by Nancy Cunningham. All aye, motion carried. <br />Walter Erickson - SUP - Mr. Erickson would like to construct a 40 X 60 pole <br />building for storage of farm equipment and animals. The building site is located <br />in the flood plain but is the highest area on the land. <br />Motion made by Rudisill, seconded by Fashingbauer to recommend approval of the <br />special use permit for Walter Erickson to construct a 40 x 60 pole building at <br />4551 165th ST.
