Planning Commission Minutes <br />December 11, 1985 page 2 <br />Verna Larsen cont. <br />All aye, motion carried. <br />Lyle Zerwas - Subdivision - Motion made by Atkinson, seconded by Rudisill to recommend <br />approval of the request of Lyle Zerwas to subdivide the property at 8A and Goodview <br />(see legal description) into 4 parcels with the following conditions; <br />1. No filling in excess of 100 cubic yards of fill in low areas without application for <br />Special Use Permit (does not include fill required for driveways). <br />2. Driveways culverts shall be 36" in diameter or as approved by the City Engineer. <br />3. Driveway side slopes shall be no steeper than 3 to 1. <br />4. Birm near east right of way line of Goodview shall be cut to provide drainage way <br />from lots to ditch. <br />5. Elevation of driveways shall be not less than 2' below regulatory flood protection <br />elevation. <br />All aye, motion carried. <br />Motion made by Atkinson, seconded by Rudisill to waive the hardshell requirement. That the <br />subdivision be allowed to be registered by means of a Certificate of Survey. <br />All aye, motion carried. <br />An addendum to the original motion was made by Schoeller, sedonded by Atkinson that the <br />easement runningeast and west remain as indicated on the existing survey. All aye, <br />motion carried. <br />David Schumann - Special Use Permit - Mr. Schumann stated that his father obtained <br />a permit in the '70's to continue his dismantling yard 7630 137th St. Because of the <br />nature of the business, auto dismantling and storage of vehicles the commission has <br />scheduled a public hearing for January 8, 1986, at 7:30 PM. Mr. Kuusisto will be <br />contacted to see if he might have any comments regarding the location and the dis- <br />tance to the lake. <br />Ray Olson made motion, seconded by Bob Olson to reconsider the. Will Harris Special <br />Use Permit. All aye, motion carried. <br />Will Harris - Texan Bar - Mike Krawec, Mr. Harris' son-in-law was present to answer <br />questionsregarding the opertion of the boxing matches. He stated they had held numerous <br />matched at the Bel -Rae Ballroom and were familiar with the procedures needed to get <br />approval from the state. <br />Motion made by Atkinson, seconded by Schoeller to recommend approval of the Special <br />Use Permit to promote boxing at the Texan Bar with the following conditions; <br />1. Applicant to supply security (2 uniformed guards) form one hour before until one hour <br />after matches end. <br />2. All boxing activities held inside the Texan Bar. <br />3. Dressing room facilities provided for participantson main floor and approved by the <br />building inspector. <br />4. Last match to start no later than 10:00 PM and be completed no later than 11:00 PM. <br />5. Spectators limited to a number to be set by the Fire Chief based on builing capacity. <br />. A hold harmless agreement in favor of the City. <br />Limit the number of events to six per year and in any case no more than one per month. <br />4P___ <br />. Insurance be approved by the City Attorney, a copy of which will be forwarded to the City. <br />9. Permit for one year with annual renewal and non-transferrable. <br />10. Comply with state board regulations (statute 341.). <br />11. In the case of televized matches, no intoxicating beverages will be sold during telecasts. <br />
