MINUTES OF THE PROCEEDINGS <br />OF THE <br />HUGO PLANNING COMMISSION <br />November 28, 1984 <br />The regular meeting was called to order at 7:02 PM by Chairman Ken Lorch. <br />PRESENT: Atkinson, Fashingbauer, Potts, Rudisill, Schoeller, Lorch <br />ABSENT: Olson <br />Motion made by Potts, second by Atkinson, to approve the minutes of 11/14/84 after <br />the following change has been made: <br />LaValle matter - motion made by Lorch not Potts. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />FRANK SAMPAIR <br />Kathy Sampair appeared at the meeting regarding the proposed horse operation on <br />property located on 165th Street, west of Highway 61 (Caruth), and currently zoned <br />Industrial. The applicant is interested in having this changed to Conservancy or <br />Agriculture. Ms. Sampair will contact owner (Caruth) and make application for <br />public hearing. Public hearing will be held either 12/26/84 or the first Planning <br />Commission meeting in January, 1985. <br />THOMAS HUBMAN <br />Mr. Huhaan, 13744 Keystone Avenue North, would like to operate a woodworking shop <br />in one of his out -buildings. The property is located in the AG zone. After a <br />lengthy discussion, the following motion was made: <br />Motion made by Potts, second by Fashingbauer, that under Chapter 320-4, Subd. C, <br />Agriculture zone, woodworking shops are not permitted. However, the Planning <br />Commission recommends approval noting that there are no existing homes in the <br />immediate area. The SUP should be subject to annual review. The applicant has <br />been made aware that the permit may be revoked upon future development in adjoining <br />area. <br />AYE: Schoeller, Potts, Fashingbauer <br />NAY: Atkinson, Rudisill, Lorch <br />Motion Failed. <br />Mr. Hukman requested his name be placed on the agenda for the Council meeting of <br />12/3/84. <br />FRANK PULEO <br />Mr. Puleo, one of three persons connected with property located at 16325 Forest <br />Boulevard, was present to discuss possible rezoning of a portion of the 10 acres <br />presently zoned SFE.
