'_`MINUTES OF THE PROCEEDINGS OF THE HUGO PLAN1TIIM COP, '`ISSION April 25, 1984 The regular meeting of the planning commission was called to order by Co—Chairman Potts at 7:00 PY. PRESENT: Fashingbauer, Potts, Rudisill, Atkinson, Schoeller, Olson ADSENT: Lorch It is noted that the Planning Commission met at the Bald Eagle Sportsmans Association to inspect the prerrises on April 14, 1984. Motion. made by Fashingbauer, second by Potts to approve the minutes of April 11, 1984 after the following corrections; R. Granger, ....trail park "be" L. Noack, ......gas, oil and "Ph" All aye, motion carried. Kostuch — rezoning — Mr. Kostuch would like to rezone small portions of property on 140th and Fenway from Industrial to SFU to conform with surrounding properties. A public hearing was scheduled for May 23, 1984 at 7:05 PD1. The regular meeting was recessed at 7:14 PM. Palme — Major Subdivision — The public hearing was called to order at 7:15 PM. Residents in attendance were Don Lease, Dick Dawson, owner of farmland on the east and Carl Johnson 12400 Ivan. Their concerns were drainage from the lots and would it go to the lake and would the new home owners begin objecting to the farming operation because of undesireable odors and noises. The public hearing was closed at 7:40 PM. The regular meeting was reconvened at 7:41 PTT. Potion made by Atkinson, second by Olson, to recommend approval of subdivision plan for Arnold Palme with the following conditions: 1. A plan should be presented to the city to insure the integrity of the existing drain tile from the low area on the west side of the property to the lake. 2. Roads accepted after development is 80% complete. 3. New residents be advised of existing farming condi— tions to the east. 4. Northern most cul—de—sac be made more round for ease of snow plowing.
