MINUTES OF THE PROCEEDINGS <br />OF THE <br />HUGO PLANNING COMMISSION <br />June 25, 1980 <br />The public hearing to consider the request of Wildwood Development <br />for a Special Use Permit to construct a multi -family unit in the SFU <br />zone was called to order by acting Chairman McAllister at 7:04 PM. <br />PRESENT: Peloquin, Hanson, Greger, Houle, Lorch, McAllister <br />ABSENT: Peltier <br />Richard Granger submitted revised plans for the proposed unit. An <br />additional 15' will be added to Lot B from Lot A creating the necessity <br />for a Minor Subdivision. Two variances will also be required: 1) <br />lot size and 2) rear yard setback. Granger stated that his attorney, <br />Richard Hiniker, will be working with the City Attorney for drawing <br />up of the by-laws of the association. A drainage plan has been sub- <br />mitted to the City Engineer for his review. <br />The new Site Plan includes the construction of six garages. There is <br />room for two additional, but another variance would be required for <br />construction ahead of the principal building. <br />Councilman Irsfeld felt that it was not city policy to include a private <br />easement when considering the lot size (acreage only). It was deter- <br />mined that a lot size of 14,000 sq ft would be requested, versus the <br />required 20,000 sq. ft. <br />Mr. Granger stated that he took his plans and personally talked to <br />the adjoining neighbors, and he heard no negative comments. <br />The public hearing was closed at 7:40 PM. <br />The regular meeting was called to order at 8:00 PM. <br />PRESENT: Peloquin, Greger, Hanson, Houle, Lorch, McAllister <br />ABSENT: Peltier <br />Motion made by Greger, seconded by Peloquin, to approve the minutes of <br />June 11, 1980, after the following correction has been made: <br />Page 2 (Horton) - Item 3 of motion should read: Delete Item 10 in its <br />entirety. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />Motion made by Greger, seconded by Houle, to approve the minutes of the <br />Special Meeting of June 17, 1980, as submitted. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />
