MINUTES OF THE PROCEEDINGS OF THE HUGO PLANNING COMMISSION July 23, 1980 The meeting was called to order by acting Chairman McAllister at 8:01 PM. PRESENT: Peloquin, Hanson, Greger, Lorch, McAllister ABSENT: Houle and Peltier Motion made by Hanson, seconded by Lorch, to approve the minutes of July 9, 1980 as submitted. All aye. Motion Carried. Let the record show the minutes of the Special Meeting of July 16, 1980 were not available for review. Matter to be placed on agenda for meeting of 8/13/80. METRO STEEL - SITE PLAN APPROVAL Mr. Eldridge was present and stated that he would like to construct a 50 x 126 cold storage building at Metropolitan Steel. (HOULE ARRIVED AT 8:03 PM) The business is located in the Bald Eagle Industrial Park. The new building would be of the same type as the existing building, and would employ 5 or 6 additional people. The 60 x 120 parking area would be sufficient to handle the new building. Let the record show that a fee of $25.00 was paid by the applicant for Site Plan review. Industrial Site Plan review is $10.00 and the Planning Commission requests that the City Council consider refunding the balance. Motion made by Peloquin, seconded by Lorch, to recommend approval of Site Plan for Metro Steel to construct a 50 x 126 cold storage building at 5212 130th Street North. Building to be located as indicated on submitted Site Plan. All aye. Motion Carried. ROBERT WOOLSTON - SITE PLAN APPROVAL Mr. Woolston, 7761 180th Street North, would like to construct a 32 x 40 pole barn to be used for his horses and personal storage. He owns 5 acres in the Agriculture zone. Motion made by Greger, seconded by Houle, to recommend approval of the Site Plan for Robert Woolston to construct a 32 x 40 pole barn to be used for storage of personal equipment and horses. All aye. Motion Carried.
