MINUTES OF THE PROCEEDINGS <br />OF THE <br />HUGO PLANNING COMMISSION <br />May 13, 1981 <br />The meeting was called to order by Chairwoman Theodora Peltier at 8:04 PM. <br />PRESENT: Peloquin, Lorch, Knuteson, Peltier <br />ABSENT: Hanson, Greger, Fashingbauer <br />Motion made by Lorch, seconded by Peloquin, to approve the minutes of April 22, <br />1981, as submitted. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />CRAIG GREEDER - SPECIAL USE PERMIT <br />Mr. Greeder owns 10 acres lying along County Road 10 in Section 35, zoned Agriculture. <br />}{e would like authorization to construct a 50 x 80 pole barn to store equipment <br />to be used in his tree business. A permanent residence will be constructed on <br />the property at a later date. A Special Use Permit is required for the commercial <br />sale of the trees, and the`.building exceeds the 3600 square footage requirement. <br />Motion made by Peloquin, seconded by Lorch, to recommend approval of the Special <br />Use Permit for Craig Greeder to construct a 50 x 80 pole barn to be used for <br />storage of equipment needed in his commercial tree operation. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />VERNON GIESE - SITE PLAN APPROVAL <br />Mr. Giese, 14227 Forest Boulevard, would like to move in a 14 x 20 garage for their <br />personal use. The land is zoned RB, and requires Site Plan Approval. (HANSON <br />ARRIVED AT 8:23 PM). Mr. Giese corrected his submitted plan from an interior <br />sideyard setback of 6' to the required 101. (GREGER ARRIVED AT 8:25 PM). <br />Motion made by Peloquin, seconded by Lorch, to recommend approval of the Site <br />Plan Approval for Vernon Giese, 14227 Forest Boulevard, to move in a 14 x 20 garage. <br />The Site Plan has been corrected to allow for setback requirements (sideyard 10', <br />and rear yard approximately 1601). <br />All aye. Motion Carried (LORCH LEFT MEETING AT 8:26 PM) <br />The garage has been inspected by Tom Crever and meets with his approval according <br />to Mr. Giese. <br />LEONARD NOACK - JUNKYARD LICENSE <br />Mr. Noack was present and stated that he has planted approximately 75 trees, 51- 12' <br />in height, and in a single row. His Special Use Permit states that the southern <br />screening should be double row, but Peloquin felt that the city should wait one <br />
