Hugo Planning Commission <br />July 8, 1981 <br />Page 4 of 5 <br />Hubbard Broadcasting - cont. <br />Motion made by Larch, seconded by Hanson, to recommend approval of the Special Use <br />Permit for Hubbard Broadcasting, Inc., on land as indicated on the Certificate of <br />Survey, to construct an earth/satellite system to include a 100 foot, self-supporting <br />tower for micro -way antennas, on 11 meter Scientific Atlanta, Model 8007, satellite <br />antenna, and a 14 x 30 foot equipment building. Land to be known as Lots 11 & 12, <br />Block 4, after final plat approval. Special Use Permit subject to the following: <br />1. Installation to be surrounded by an 8' cyclone fence to include barbwire <br />across the top. <br />2. All electrical power to be underground, if feasible. <br />3. A parking space to be provided within the fenced area. <br />4. Equipment building to be faced with similar concrete blocks to correspond <br />with rest of industrial park. <br />VOTING FOR: Greger, Hanson, Larch, Fashingbauer, Knuteson, Peltier <br />ABSTAINED: Peloquin <br />Motion Carried. <br />George Merrill, Hubbard engineer, complimented the City Clerk on the help she <br />provided them while working on this application <br />JOE GLAMOS - SITE PLAN APPROVAL <br />Mr. Glamos would -like to construct a 15,000 sq ft addition to his existing building. <br />He hod previously attended a Rice Creek Watershed meeting, and received a permit <br />from them subject to a drainage plan and ponding area. Mr. Glomos stated that he <br />will not exceed 25 employees. <br />Motion mode by Hanson, seconded by Peloquin, to recommend approval of the Site Pian <br />for Glamos Wire Products in the Peloquin Industrial Park, to construct a 15,000 sq <br />ft addition to the existing building, as per submitted Site Plan, subject to the <br />following: Drainage plan approved by Rice Creek Watershed, parking spots provided <br />as required to accommodate the number of employees (see Exhibit 11), and other <br />plans as submitted with the application. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />DENNIS SCHULTZ - SITE PLAN APPROVAL <br />Mr. Schultz, 13101 Henna Avenue, would like to construct a 32 x 56 pole barn for <br />storage. Mr. Schultz was not present, but the Planning Commission reviewed his <br />application for Site Plan Approval. They noted that the site plan indicated a <br />setback of 10' from the interior lot line. The requirement for AG zone is 20' <br />sideyard setback. <br />Motion made by Lorch, seconded by Peltier, to recommend approval of the Site Plan <br />for Dennis Schultz, 13101 Henna Avenue, to construct a 32 x 56 pie barn for his <br />personal use only, provided building is constructed to meet the sideyard setback <br />of 20' in the AG zone. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />
