MINUTES OF THE PROCEEDINGS <br />OF THE <br />HUGO PLANNING COMMISSION <br />August 26, 1981 <br />The meeting was called to order by Chairwoman Theodora Peltier at 8:03 PM. <br />PRESENT: Peloquin, Hanson, Fashingbauer, Knuteson, Peltier <br />ABSENT: Greger and Lorch <br />Motion made by Hanson, seconded by Peltier, to approve the minutes of August 12, <br />1981, as submitted. (GREGER ARRIVED AT 8:04 PM) <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />GERALD HAUBLE - SITE PLAN APPROVAL <br />Mr. Hauble, 5460 125th Street, would like to construct a 40 x 64 pole barn for his <br />personal storage. Mr. Hauble has homesteaded 2 acres and is purchasing 8 addi- <br />tional acres. These parcels will be recorded on one deed and the deed should be <br />available for the Council meeting. Mr. Hauble will be using the existing driveway, <br />and the Site Plan meets all setback requirements. <br />Motion made by Peltier, seconded by Peloquin, to recommend approval of the Site <br />Plan for Gerald Hauble, 5460 125th Street, to construct a 40 x 64 pole barn for <br />his personal storage. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />JOHN TRIPPEL - VARIANCE AND SPECIAL USE PERMIT <br />Mr. Trippel, 5732 150th Street, would like to construct a 24 x 40 pole type building <br />to be used as a -garage and for storage. The existing:18 x 20 garage would be moved <br />to Mr. Woeltge's property if approval is'granted. The proposed building will be <br />located 4' from the sideyard property line requiring a variance from the 5' re- <br />quirement. Mr. Trippel provided letters from the adjoining property owners regarding <br />the variance and the type of building, stating that they had no objections. Tom, <br />Crever, Building Inspector, was present, and stated that the proposed building does <br />not conform with other buildings in the area, and that the area is pretty dense. <br />Mr. Trippel stated that he will do all that he can to have the building constructed <br />so that it resembles a residential garage. He stated that he is going this route <br />because of the expense to construct a similar wood frame structure. <br />Motion made by Greger, seconded by Peltier, to recommend approval of the Special <br />Use Permit for John Trippel, 5732 150th Street, to construct a 24 x 40 pole type <br />building to be A a garage and for personal storage. Mr. Trippel is to have <br />building constructed so as to fit in with a residential area, <br />All aye.
