Robert Dotte expressed his desire to re-
zone 20 acres from Conservancy to Industrial or Agriculture. His intent would be to
build wooden pallets in the Industrial zone, and leave the 10 acres on the West
as Agriculture. Mrs. Ella Caruth submitted a letter expressing her concern for
allowing a business of that sort in the area, which is primarily residential.
Art and Mary Munger were present to oppose the rezoning also. Anthony Penna and
Rick Mallinger were concerned about the condition of the road and felt any heavy
trucks and more trafffic would only make it worse. The property was determined
to be low lying and basically unsuitable for homes. The public hearing was
closed at 7:59PM.
The regular meeting was called to order by Chairperson Lorch at 8:00PM.
PRESENT: Lorch, Hanson, Fashingbauer, Potts, Atkinson, Schoeller, M. McAllister.
Motion made by Hanson, seconded by Potts to approve the minutes of the May 25,
1983 as submitted. All aye. The Johnsons have expressed a desire to purchase the
property but fail to submit a written offer. A current perc test and survey was
presented.
