Hugo Planning Commission October 26, 1977 Page 3 of 3 Motion made by Peloquin, seconded by Rosenquist, to include Shepherd of the Fields, Gordon Russett, and Sandy Murphy on the agenda. Shepherd of the Fields Church — Special Use Permit A church representative submitted a Signboard Permit from the railroad. The church is requesting to place a sign on railroad property. Motion made by Rosenquist, seconded by Peloquin, to recommend approval of the sign as originally passed by the Planning Commission on September 14, 1977 along with the railroad Signboard Permit dated September 22, 1977. All aye. Motion carried. Mr. Gordon Russett Mr. Russett presented the Commission with a plan for dividing his 85 acres. The potential buyer would have clear title on 15 acres, and the balance of 70 acres would be on a contract for deed. Motion made by Peloquin, seconded by Peltier, to recommend approval of the proposed plan of Mr. Gordon Russett, adding 5 acres to 809 release 15 acres, and the balance of 70 acres on contract for deed. Greger stated that this 15 acres could be sold as is when there is more land available. There was also discussion that someone could come in at a later date and ask for a 15 acre building site on the balance of the property. Irsfeld asked if it would be possible to cut the price on 20 acres, and raise the price on balance of land on contract for deed. VOTING FOR: Peloquin, Peltier VOTING AGAINST: Greger and Rosenquist Motion failed. Motion made by Peloquin, seconded by Rosenquist, that due to failure in motion, matter be handled by City Council. VOTING FOR: Peloquin, Greger, Rosenquist, and Peltier Motion carried Sandy Murphy Ms. Murphy was present asking for information regarding the subdividing of land owned by the Hollihans, and road requirements. Motion made by Greger, seconded by Rosenquist, to adjourn at 11:15 PM, MaryCreager, Secretary Hugo Planning Commission
