.,► MINUTES OF THE PROCEEDINGS <br />OF THE <br />HUGO PLANNING COMMISSION <br />August 10, 1977 <br />The public hearing regarding the amended Special Use Permit re- <br />quest of Len Noack was called to order at 7:31 PM by acting Chair- <br />person Theodora Peltier. <br />PRESENT: Peltier, Peloquin and McAllister. Gillen arrived at 7:35 PM, <br />Rosenquist at 7:40 PM, and Greger at 7:50 PM. <br />ABSENT: Ehret <br />Mrs. Peltier read the notice as published in the Forest Lake Times. <br />Mr. Noack presented the plans for his requested enlargement. Noack <br />stated that the State Department of Transportation will be out in <br />a couple of weeks to determine where they will`��screening. Gillen <br />stated that screening willo-compatible with Horton's yard. Ivan <br />Hodges, 6169 165th Street, wanted to know if the fence would keep <br />intruders out. Noack stated the fence met with Council approval and <br />should eliminate that problem. Mr. Hodges felt that yard would devalue <br />his property. Mrs. Darrell Jacobson, 6364 165th Street, was told <br />her property was east of proposed yard. She felt the yard would <br />not improve the area. Mr. Fakler, 799 11th Avenue, Forest Lake, <br />was present stating that he was in favor of the request. Mr. Noack <br />stated that he will planting 2 - 5 foot pines. A letter was pre- <br />sented from Richard Dempich stating that they were opposed. <br />The public hearing was closed at 7:55 PM. <br />The regular meeting was called to order at 8:05 PM., by Peltier. <br />PRESENT: Peltier, Peloquin, Greger, Rosenquist, Gillen, and McAllister <br />Bill Schwab arrived at 8:10 PM. <br />ABSENT: Ehret <br />Motion made by Peloquin, seconded by Greger, to approve the minutes <br />of July 27, 1977 as presented. <br />VOTING FOR: Peltier, Peloqui, Greger, Rosenquist, and McAllister <br />VOTING NO: Gillen <br />Len Noack - Amended Special Use Permit <br />Mr. Noack has a request to enlarge his auto dismantling yard, asking <br />for extra ground. Bill Schwab stated that there should be a change <br />in any fencing, and a change in the description of the yard. Mrs. <br />Noack presented a legal of the land they are adding to the yard. <br />Schwab stated that there has never been any problem with the Noack <br />operation. <br />
