MINUTES OF THE PROCEEDINGS <br />OF THE <br />HUGO PLANNING COMMISSION <br />July 139 1977 <br />The public hearing to consider the rezoning request of Fred Fulbright <br />was opened at 7:04 P.M. <br />PRESENT: Ehret, Peltier, Peloquin, Greger, Gillen, and McAllister <br />ABSENT: Rosenquist <br />Mr. Fulbright requested the rezoning of approximately 14 acres from <br />RB to SFE. Greg Carlson, 13753 Forest Blvd, was present inquiring <br />as to whether his property might also be considered in the rezoning <br />request. It was determined that Mr. Carlson's property is already <br />zoned SFE. There were no other comments from adjoining property <br />owners. The public hearing was closed at 7:15 P.M. <br />Charles Mussehl - Special Use Permit <br />The public hearing was opened at 7:31 PM. Mr. Mussehl presented a <br />copy of his lease with Mr. Anthony Golat. Mr. T.J. Marier, 5566 - <br />145th Street, was present stating his opposition for the request <br />of a Special Use Permit made by Mr. Mussehl. Mr. Marier felt that <br />the operation would be a nuisance, and would be located between two <br />residences. He also stated that he was concerned with the rubbish <br />associated with the business, and the traffic that would result. <br />Phil Kamman, 5490 145th Street, was present and stated that he was <br />concerned with the traffic, and felt that the location was bad, <br />because it was mainly a residential area. Mr. Mussehl thought that <br />the guidelines he had set down were reasonable (closing at 10:00 PM). <br />He would make sure there were containers available to take care of <br />the refuse. Mr. Mussehl did not feel that Hugo had problems with <br />their teenagers. A letter of opposition was received from Mrs. <br />Morrisette, McAllister asked if Mr. Musshel had ever been arrested. <br />Mr. Mussehl stated that he has been arrested five times, but has <br />never been convicted of a felony. Mr. Mussehl is lanning to do <br />some remodeling (plumbing, painting, and carpeting, at an estimated <br />cost of $1200.00. He said he would also replace the brick on the <br />outside, if needed. The public hearing was closed at 7:55 P.M. <br />The regular Planning Commission meeting was called to order at 8:04 PM, <br />by Chairman Ehret. <br />PRESENT: Ehret, Peltier, Peloquin, Greger, Gillen, and McAllister <br />Bill Schwab arrived at 8:20 P.M. <br />ABSENT: Rosenquint <br />Motion made by Peltier, seconded by Peloquin, to approve the minutes <br />of June 22, 1977, after the following changes have been made: <br />Page 1 last paragraph) - Mr. Brevig is t_present a perc test <br />Page 3 line one) - Mr. Massa would like to sell property <br />Page 3 line three)=Laboratory <br />Laboratory <br />Page 2 Mike Pederson, line 5) - It is not on a separate deed <br />All aye.
